Originating from one of the largest salt mines in the world, this salt from the Kalahari Desert is a jewel in our kitchens that brings us the African continent.

The Makgadikgadi saltpans in Botswana and Etosha in Namibia are natural areas that give life to and produce one of the most impressive salts that we know. A dry lake in the middle of the Savannah of northwest Botswana creates something truly wonderful. The salt is extracted from its underground accumulations to be dried under the desert sun. Thanks to this process, its properties are distinct and unique from the rest of the world’s salts.

It’s pure white colour “hides” its extraordinary richness in minerals and oligo elements, as well as its incredible flavour.

Kalahari Desert Salt is a true pleasure for the palate; unique and, above all else, a pure product that works in any dish.

In Africa, in the Kalahari desert, we can find salt extracted from two of the biggest salt marshes around the world: Makgadikgadi in Botswana and Etosha in Namibia.
Far from any pollution source, the salt from the Kalahari desert is valued by its purity. It comes from some underground, natural deposits and once it is pumped to the surface it is dried in the sun in a natural way. An actual gastronomic jewel offered by the African continent.
It is pure white and it has a delicate flavour; it is rich in minerals and trace elements. Perfect to enhance any kind of dish.
